Dr.
David Halpin
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Halpin pursued
his educational career at Acadia University in Wolfville,
Nova Scotia where he obtained his Bachelor of Science
degree. Upon
graduation, Dr. Halpin took some time to play
professional hockey in Austria before attending dental
school at the University of Western Ontario where he
received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. He also won many awards including the Academic and
Athletic Excellence Awards. Dr. David Halpin has degrees from Acadia University and
the University of Western
Ontario. He has completed numerous post-graduate courses both in facial
orthopaedics–orthodontics and full-mouth dental prosthetic reconstruction. He
also treats jaw joint (TMJ) problems as well as some sleeping disorders (apnea
and snoring).
After
returning to play professional hockey in Germany, traveling
around the world, and learning multiple languages, Dr.
Halpin moved to Ottawa, Ontario to establish his
dental practice. He also held a teaching position at the
dental clinic at Algonquin College.
