Invisalign®
- Invisible Braces
Made nearly invisible, this orthodontic treatment straightens
your teeth using a series of custom-made, removable,
nearly invisible appliances called Aligners.
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign combines your diagnosis and treatment plan
using 3-D computer graphics technology to move teeth
using a series of custom-made clear Aligners. Patients
wear each set of Aligners for a minimum of two weeks
(22 hours per day) gradually moving their teeth until
the desired results are achieved.

Invisalign Benefits
Invisalign offers several advantages to patients:
- Invisible - Aligners are clear and nearly
invisible so that no one can tell you're wearing them
- Comfortable - There are no wires or brackets
to cause irritation
- Removable - You can eat and brush normally
while in treatment, which can prevent tooth decay
and gum disease
- Cleanings are quicker and easier than with
traditional orthodontics
- Invisalign makes it possible for you to visualize
your treatment plan before beginning treatment to
see how your teeth will look when treatment is complete,
as well as at every stage in between

Straighter teeth can lead to:
- Healthier Gums - Properly aligned teeth make
brushing and flossing easier to do compared to crowded,
crooked, or widely spaced teeth
- Easier Cleanings - Maintaining good oral
hygiene can reduce the chances of plaque retention,
tooth decay, and periodontal (gum) disease
- Improved Chewing and Speech - Properly positioned
teeth and jaws can help to reduce speech problems
and improve chewing
- Decreased Risk of Dental Trauma and Abnormal
Wear - Less stress is placed on supporting bone
and jaw joints when teeth are properly aligned
- More Beautiful Smiles - Invisalign will not
only straighten your teeth, but it will make you feel
less self-conscious and more confident

Hygienic Benefits of Invisalign
It's removable for good hygiene.
Aligners are removable, so you can brush and floss
normally which helps prevent tooth decay and gum
disease. Clinical cleanings are quicker and easier than
with traditional orthodontics.
Your gum health may improve.
Periodontal tissue health may improve with use of
Invisalign Aligners during orthodontic treatment.
You can still eat what you want.
Aligners are removed to eat, therefore you can eat what
you want.
There's no metal to irritate your
mouth. Braces can cause temporary gum inflammation.
With Invisalign there is a decreased risk of allergies
to metal, irritation, lost braces or broken wires.
